The Australian Institute of Credit Management have held Women in Credit (WINC) functions nationally since 2015 and on Friday 10th of September 2021 it held its inaugural Tasmanian WINC function at the Hobart  function centre.

Guest speaker for this event was Sarah Merridew who shared insights into her professional and personal life. Sarah was instrumental in founding the Merridew foundation, a registered charity that invests in education for Tasmanian women and medical research.

WINC events focus on supporting women in achieving their full potential in both their personal and working lives as well as issues affecting women. In 2021, WINC events are supporting Endometriosis Australia who are broadening awareness & education programs as well as funding research into this debilitating condition.  Representing Endometriosis Australia was Olivia Hicks who shared her own personal battle with this disease.

The luncheon event provided great networking opportunities and the raffle prizes were pretty good too!

Maybe we’ll see you at the next event!
